Disconnect your mobile phones and other gadgets:
Detach yourself from your PC, laptop, mobile phones etc to check your messages or complete pending work. Even though you feel like you are relaxing, you are not. Instead, you are taxing yourself with the unwanted information from outside.
Do things differently:
Do things in a different way. Doing the things in a routine manner can cause you to get bored easily. You can plan for a day of fishing, dancing, talking to strangers etc. These activities make you more spontaneous, makes you active and alert.
Spend time with the ones you love:
Try to spend time with your family, as there is nothing as quality time with the family. The time spent will make you more connected and gives you experiences that last for life.
Try to take some time in exercising or meditating. Exercising removes built up toxins and wastes in the body through sweat. You feel like consuming more water and thus removing many accumulated toxins. You feel fresh and energized.
Mingle with people meet old friends and colleagues. It is one of the best ways to de-stress as socializing releases stress and gets you refreshed.
Follow your passion:
Spend some time exploring your hobbies and develop your talents. Try to peruse your passion. If you enjoy photography, painting, sketching, music. This is the best way to re-energize you.
