This is the heartwarming video, which was released by a heartbroken mother. Her first baby died from Sepsis and she wanted to raise awareness of the illness.
Melissa Mead, from Penryn, Cornwall, lost her first child William in 2014 after NHS 111 staff working from a script failed to recognize crucial signs of the blood infection. Her first baby died due to an abscess in his left lung caused by the bacterial infection streptococcus A and died in his cot.
Melissa, who is expecting her second baby released a video and she has highlighted with her hand written signs. She narrated the whole story in the video.
She started the video by holding up a photo of William, who was affectionately known as ‘Grumpus’. She further showcased a scanned image of her second child.
With Fight Song by Rachel Platten playing in background, she holds up signs reading: ‘I will never have a picture of them together because William lives in heaven now and they will never meet.
She conveyed that her first son died just 17 days after his first birthday due to Sepsis.
